Overview:
The USB fingerprint login consists of a dedicated security chip, fingerprint sensor, etc. realizing two major functions: Windows Hello and file encryption/decryption.
Windows Hello is a biometric authentication method that replaces traditional passwords, providing a higher level of security for users logging into Windows systems and Microsoft online services. Through fingerprint scanning, the system recognises the user's unique identity for a fast, secure and password-free login experience.
The file encryption/decryption function enables one-click encryption of files or folders. When decrypting, it adopts a dual verification mechanism of fingerprint or password. The encryption key pair is generated within the login device and is bound to a mnemonic phrase. Even if the hardware is damaged or lost, you can still retrieve your key pair and decrypt previous files through the mnemonic.
C*Core’s USB fingerprint login device is compatible with Windows 7 and above operating systems, allowing users to log in through fingerprint recognition.
